Day 80 - Monday

U.S. History I - Periods 2, 5, and 6: 
Essential Question:
-Does our state government or federal government have a greater impact in our lives?
-Do separation of powers and checks and balances make our government work too slowly?
-Was George Washington a good president?
-Why was John Adam's so strongly disliked?
-To what extend did Thomas Jefferson live up to his ideals and beliefs?

1. Please read "Life in Brief: John Adams", and then READ and MAKE 2-COLUMN NOTES based off guided topics BELOW from John Adams Packet (do NOT answer the questions on page 4 - we will do this in class during a video), and The Sedition Act Excerpt (Just read pages 5 & 6).
